Kevin Tapp

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Ibexis life & Annuity Insurance Company. In this role, he oversees financial strategy, planning, and operations, contributing to the company’s growth and success. He will report to CEO Nate Gemmiti as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

With nearly 25 years of experience in insurance investment banking, Kevin has held key roles such as Head of Insurance Investment Banking at Truist Securities and BMO Capital Markets. He spent 15 years at Wells Fargo/Wachovia Capital Markets and began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Kevin’s notable transactions include advising AXA Equitable, Symetra Financial, and Transamerica (Aegon) on major sales. He also played a pivotal role in two significant bank-owned insurance brokerage divestitures, advising Wells Fargo and Truist on their respective sales to KKR-owned USI Insurance Services and a private equity-led investor group.
